Owned and operated by Dr. Marnie Mabee D'Andrea, DC, the clinic takes pride in never rushing your assessment or treatment, and in looking for and treating the cause of your pain, not just your symptoms. Their comprehensive services include chiropractic care, sports injury management, custom orthotics, maternity and prenatal care, massage therapy, soft tissue treatment, functional movement screening, and treatment for motor vehicle and work-related injuries. Dr. D'Andrea has a special interest in sports injuries and has treated national and world-level athletes, serving on medical teams for triathlons, the Around the Bay Road Race, the Hamilton Marathon, and the 2015 Pan Am Games. Certified in FMS and SFMA Levels 1 and 2, she uses an evidence-informed approach to assess movement patterns and guide manual therapy. Doctor of Chiropractic (DC)
A graduate of New York Chiropractic College, Dr. D'Andrea opened MMD Chiropractic in 2005 and has treated national and world-level athletes. Certified in FMS and SFMA Levels 1 and 2, her interests include athletic care, maternity care, and shoulder injuries, and she treats a wide range of musculoskeletal and soft tissue conditions.

Chiropractic Intern
A McMaster University Kinesiology graduate pursuing her Doctor of Chiropractic at CMCC, Durdana completes her clinical internship under Dr. Marnie's supervision. She takes an evidence-informed, individualized approach that combines hands-on care with active rehabilitation strategies.

Do you offer direct billing to insurance?

Do I need a doctor's referral to be seen?
No, you do not need a referral to see either the chiropractor or the massage therapist. However, your extended health benefit plan may require a physician referral to reimburse your visits, so please check your specific health plan's requirements, as all plans differ.
What types of injuries and conditions do you treat?
Chiropractors treat a wide range of musculoskeletal and soft tissue injuries affecting the spine and other joints, including the elbows, shoulders, hips, and knees. We help with back pain, neck pain, sciatica, sports injuries, shoulder injuries, and pregnancy-related discomfort in patients of all ages, from the very young to the very old.
What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your first visit includes a thorough assessment where we take time to understand your condition and identify the cause of your pain, not just the symptoms. We never rush your assessment or treatment time. Depending on your diagnosis, treatment may include chiropractic adjustment, soft tissue therapy, or a recommendation for orthotics or other care.
How do I know if I need custom orthotics?
Not everyone needs orthotics. At MMD Chiropractic, your current condition is assessed to determine the recommended treatment for you. Biomechanical assessment and molding are done on site, while the actual orthotics are made off-site at a local Chiropodist. Visit our orthotics page or contact us to learn more.
