No referral is required to see a chiropractor in Ontario. You can book directly for an initial chiropractic assessment. However, some extended health insurance plans may require a physician's referral for reimbursement, so it is worth checking with your provider beforehand.

Dr. Leesa works with patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors.

Your first visit is an in-depth New Patient Exam ($125) with Dr. Leesa. She will review your health concerns, including background on your symptoms, pre-existing medical conditions and any prior injuries. The appointment may include orthopedic, neurological, muscle function, mobility, joint function and radiographic testing, followed by a report of findings with a diagnosis or clinical impression and care recommendations.

Dr. Leesa provides gentle, comfortable and customized chiropractic care based on your examination findings, age, comfort level and injury. Techniques include Activator Instrument Adjusting, Manual Full Spine Hands-On Adjusting and Flexion Distraction Technique. Treatment may also incorporate muscle stimulation/electrotherapy, heat/cold therapy, exercise programs and recommendations for assistive devices.
