Frequently Asked Questions — That Stretch Girl
Do you offer direct billing to insurance companies?
No, we do not offer direct billing. However, we provide receipts for all treatments that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. We accept all forms of payment, though e-transfer and cash are always our preferred methods.
Do I need a doctor's referral to book an appointment?
No doctor's referral is required to book massage therapy or most of our services. However, some extended health insurance plans may require a referral for reimbursement, so we recommend checking with your provider. Please note we do not accept walk-ins—all appointments must be booked ahead.
What types of injuries and conditions do you treat?
Our practitioners treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including muscle tension, pain management, scar tissue and post-surgical recovery, TMJ issues, pelvic and hip concerns, fibromyalgia, and pre/post-natal and postpartum needs. With modalities like massage therapy, fascial stretch therapy, cupping, myofascial release, and acupuncture, we can tailor treatment to your specific goals.
What can I expect at my first appointment?
At your first visit, your practitioner will complete a thorough assessment to understand your health history and treatment goals before beginning care. Most of our treatment rooms are on the main floor, and if you have difficulty with stairs, you can request a main-floor room when booking. If you're overwhelmed by our range of options, email info@rebecca-rmt.com and we'll match you with the right practitioner.
What makes your massage therapy services unique?

Founder Rebecca Kitchen brings over 18 years of experience with advanced training in contemporary acupuncture, cupping, myofascial release, and pre/post-natal care—including pelvic floor and fascial release—making our massage therapy both therapeutically effective and genuinely restorative.
